She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Lee Moss Sr. and Florence Moss (Rutherford); her siblings, BJ Moss, Pansy Kelly, Dudley Moss, Ana Jewel Warren-Evans, James Moss (Red), Bob Oliver Moss, Elmer Moss Jr. and Leona Vivian Foster; her aunt Clara Rutherford; her niece Velma Louise Swear; her sister-in-law Betty Moss; and her close friends, Lou Brown, Bill and Susie Carter.
She is survived by: her husband James Monroe Chalakee Sr.; her children, James Monroe Chalakee Jr., Holly Ann Presley (Robert Scott Presley) of Coweta, OK, Shawn Legus Chalakee Sr. (Elizabeth Ann) of Coweta, OK, Theron Layne Chalakee (Tami Lucille) of Coweta, OK and Heath Avery Chalakee (Amera Lacy) of Coweta, OK; her grandchildren, Tara, Brandy, April, Jayme, Angela, Scottie, Douglas, Little Shawn, Taylor, Cheyenne, Chase, Solomon and Victoria; and her great grandchildren, Colton, Raylee, Cooper, Lawson, Blakelyn, Ryker, Rydge, Oaklyn, Jett, Easton, Brodie, Keith, Allyson, Paisley, Zeek, Alisah and Maliki.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Mallett Funeral Home and Crematory (417 E Cherokee St, Wagoner, OK 74467). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the All Nations Seventh Day Adventists Church (1192 S Haskell Blvd, Haskell, OK 74436).
