He was predeceased by: his mother Shirley Mae Hefner (Tillery); and his wife Ann Mae Hefner. He is survived by: his son David Hefner; and his nieces and nephews, Bill Ford, Janie Nevitt, Barbara Thomas, Odie Thomas, Earl Thomas (Donna), Raymond Thomas (Becky), Judy Morris (Dale) and Brenda Thomas. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
