He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Rowan and Mary Ellen Rowan (Points); his wife Virginia Joan Webb; and his siblings, Steve Eubanks (Joy), Evelyn Powell and David Rowan.

He is survived by: his children, Joanie Dorris (Shane) and Mike Rowan; his grandchildren, Colton Dorris, Shay Dorris and Bryar Rowan; his brother Leonard Rowan (Shantel); his nephews, Matthew and Eric; his niece Lynne; his brother Ivan Glenn (Lisa); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Randall, Kassie, Shaelyn and Brody; and also Robbie Williams (Sandy). He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Cornerstone Funeral Home & Crematory (1830 N York St, Muskogee, OK 74403). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 2:30 PM at 1423 Cemetery Rd, Fort Gibson, OK 74434.
