He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrtle May Scroggins (Rankins) and James Scroggins; his son Darrell Patterson; his grandchildren, Tracy Berry and Dorena Stepp; his siblings, Ruby Carr, Dolly Tillison, Jessie Walker, Lois Dobson, Lloyd Scroggins, Kenneth Scroggins and William Scroggins; and his sister-in-law Sue Scroggins.
He is survived by: his pets, Daisy, Abbey and Dawg; his daughter Betty Ethel Scroggins; his pet Victor; his wife Bernice Scroggins (Welch); his children, Bobby Scroggins Jr. (Tammy Hayes) of Broken Arrow, OK and Regina Patterson (Easton Hopper) of Wagoner; his grandchildren, Nathan Rojas, Noah Wilson, Keenan Patterson, Carter Wilson, Kamilah Scroggins, Bobby Scroggins III, Tyler Winland, Cody Winland, Ashley Conrad, Kenna Garrison, Britney Hopper, Darren Marin, Jessica Martin, Brianna Patterson, Jordynn Patterson and Aaliyah Patterson; and his siblings, Richard Scroggins (Susie), Helen Hendrix (Raymond), J. B. Scroggins (late Sue) and Brenda Lenard (Johnny). He is also survived by numerous nieces nephews; other extended family and friends.
