He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray V. Padley and Mamie May Padley (Nelson); and his son Carl Padley. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Anne (Hoggatt); his sister Florence Rector (Randall) of Coffeyville; and his children, Gary Davidson (Laura) of Coffeyville, Gerald Padley of North Dakota, Ralph Padley, Jr. of New Mexico, Linda Padley of Coffeyville and Sherry Davidson (Darrel) of Opie. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
