It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Rex Jeans of Vinita, Oklahoma, born in Joplin, Missouri, who passed away on July 25, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cloyd Rex Jeans and Patricia Jane Jeans (Maddox); his grandparents, Cloyd Bunch Jeans, Clara Jeans (Merrick) and Mildred A. Jeans; his stepmothers, De Jean Jeans (Bell) and Glennis Jeans (Turley); his sister Barbara Taylor (Jeans); and his brothers-in-law, Leonard Taylor, Jr. and Cliff Mitchell.
He is survived by: his sisters, Terry Mitchell (Jeans) of Tennessee and Kriss Idleman (Jeans) of Vinita; and his nieces and nephews, Cheyne Jinks of Vinita, Mary Jo (Taylor), Knox of Vinita, Jay, Andrea Taylor of Vinita, Tim Taylor of Okmulgee, Anna Hayes of Big Cabin, Lori Hayes of Vinita, Sarah (Mitchell), Eric Clark of Florida and Abigail Brower of Florida.
