She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Ellis and Lois Ellis; her sister Susan Underwood; and her brother-in-law Bill Underwood. She is survived by: her husband Frederick Whiting; her daughters, Susanne Whiting (Jody Sims) and Melissa Whiting; her granddaughters, Molly Dearth (Brad Williams) of Pasadena, CA and Megan Lane (Grant Lane) of Savannah, GA; her great grandchildren, Les and Hudson Lane of Savannah; her nephew Bill Underwood of Edmond, OK; her niece Michelle Southwell of San Antonio, TX; and her daughter Jody Carter of Vinita.
The family requests, in lieu of flowers, that contributions be made in her name to the Vinita Educational Foundation, the Vinita Public Library, or the Vinita Christian Science Society.
