She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Doris Louise Hoover (Sloan); her grandparents, James Sloan, Gillie Sloan (Carroll) and Cherokee Indian; her father Curtis Hoover; her daughter Jennifer McElhaney (Joshua) of Grove; her grandchildren, Parker Shaffer, Cooper McElhaney and Mackenzie McElhaney; her aunts, Sue Sloan of Houston, TX and Anita Hoover of Coarsegold, CA; and also Tom Berry.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Burckhalter-Highsmith Chapel (201 N Wilson St, Vinita, OK 74301). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
