He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Cleo Patterson and Agnes Olson; and his children, Duane F. Patterson, Jr. and Laurie Neal. He is survived by: his close friend Mary Von Drehle; and his children, Denise Holt, Jacqueline Mayer, Evian Ruiz and Ed Priz.
