He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, David Arnold Burrus and Velda Alene Burrus (Taylor); his sister Peggy Talley Farrell; his children, Angela Montgomery (Kenneth) of Colorado, David Burrus (Amber) of Mississippi, Staci Jackson (James) of Minnesota and Melissa Adams of Kansas; and his niece Tamra Bro. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
