She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Lee Davis and Stella Henrietta Davis (Highsmith); her children, Robert Wayne Mercer and Barbara L. Dean; and her siblings, Vivian Blevins, Lavena Lundy, Orlena Knight, Wayne Davis, Doyle Davis and Connie Garcia (Dixie Woodard). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces, and great-great-nephews.
