She was predeceased by: her parents, W. O. Gillis (Toby) and Luella Gillis (Childers); her husband Joe Brooks; her brother Kenneth Gillis; and her grandson Kalin Jake Skaggs.
She is survived by: her children, Deloyd Gentry (Jeri) of Canton, IL, Ronda Gentry of Vian, Donna Skaggs (Terry) of Vian, Jeff Gentry of Sallisaw and Leigh Ann Smith (Danny) of Vian; and her sister Debbie Gillis of Vian. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
