She was predeceased by: her parents, Dica Craghead (Smith) and Jess Craghead; her husband Grady Lee Abbott; and her brothers, Leo Craghead, Floyd Craghead and Don Craighead.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Newcomer (Richard), Kenneth Abbott (Donna) and Jim Abbott of Norman, OK; her grandchildren, John Abbott of Coweta, OK, Kimberly Collins of Broken Arrow, OK, Greg Abbott of Norman, OK, Audra Abbott of Mustang, OK, Jared Abbott of Oklahoma City, OK, Jason Newcomer of Warner, OK and Jessica Womble of Tulsa, OK; and her siblings, Ona Holeman of Hot Springs, AR, Gladys Thornton of Vian, OK and Lynard Craghead of Vian, OK. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Viewing was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Agent & Mallory Martin Funeral Home (123 S Wheeler Ave, Sallisaw, OK 74955). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at the Memories Cemetery.
