He is survived by: his wife Brenda Kay Shipley; his children, Lillian Walker, Charlie Beason, Robert Beason (Samantha), Harold Murphy Jr. (Crystal), Michael James Murphy (Christa), Adam Lee Murphy (Sherry) and Christopher Lee Murphy; and his brothers, Arliss Murphy Jr. and Vernon Eugene Murphy. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
