It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Elbon in Vian, Oklahoma, born in Buckhannon, West Virginia, who passed away on August 6, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilma Mae Elbon (Ritter) and John Jonas Elbon; his wife Joanne Elbon (Simon); his grandparents, Grover Cleveland Elbon, Premelia Elizabeth Simmons Elbon, Albert "Birch" Ritter and Lela Ethel McFarland Ritter; his brother Larry Noble Elbon; his half-sister Shirley Nicholson; his nephews, David Nicholson and Brian Nicholson; and his cousin Bert Elbon.
He is survived by: his children, Dana Elbon of Vian, OK and Jason; his daughter-in-law Lisa Elbon of Vian, OK; his grandchildren, Adrianna Faith Elbon of Tulsa, OK and Addison Grace Elbon (Nolan Sturgeon) of Tulsa, OK; his sisters, Betty (Donald Robertson), Wanda (Kenneth Harris) and Freda (Frank Lincoln, Jr.); his half-sister Nellie Wilson of Weston; his brother Bryon Scott Elbon of Vian, OK; his brother-in-law Bob Nicholson of Morgantown; his aunts and uncles, Lyn, Faye Ritter of Owasso, OK, Jerald, Lola Ritter of Vian, OK and Jean Elbon Masters of Chapin; and his nieces and nephews, Laura Nunnery, Gina Powers, Krala Smith, Alia Walker, Whitney Pack, Tia Lincoln, Malarie Mendenhall, Katie Durham, Bobbie Panetelone, Craig Robertson, Micah Harris, Travis Pack, Bryson Elbon, John Nicholson and Numerous. He is also survived by Numerous other relatives and friends.
