He was predeceased by: his parents, Corrine Smith (Buster) and Edward Lee Smith; and his brothers, Edward Smith Jr. and Roger Smith. He is survived by: his sisters, Lorrie Tatge of Woodridge, IL, Karen Cullison of Vian, OK and Tina Drum of Gore, OK; and his pet Harley. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
