With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Curtis Cullison of Vian, Oklahoma, born in Wichita, Kansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Curtis left this world on December 13, 2024 at the age of 55, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though Curtis may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Curtis touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his brother Aaron Crabtree; and his grandparents, Retha and Quinton Echols. He is survived by: his parents, Charlotte Echols of Sallisaw, OK and Steve Cullison; his wife Karen Cullison (Smith); his stepson Corey Smith (Cristina) of Vian, OK; and his grandson Barrett Smith. He is also survived by numerous cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Agent & Mallory Martin Funeral Home (123 S Wheeler Ave, Sallisaw, OK 74955). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
