It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sue George (Velma, Oklahoma), born in Hugo, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 3, 2019, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her brothers, Frank Hyland and Lenney Hyland. She is survived by: her granddaughter Abbey; her children, Don Mack George, Sr. (Tracie Willis) of Hugo, OK, Lewis George (Donna) of Spencerville, OK, Verda Lynnette Richey (Melvin) of Mead, OK and Nena Hudson (Tony) of Spencerville, OK; and her brothers, Jack Hyland of Hutchins, TX and Roy Hyland of Sawyer, OK. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren along with many other relatives and friends.

“My most sincere condolences on the family's loss of Sue ( Velma Sue George). She is so very missed by myself and others ( workers and residents). Sue would always make my day, she had such stories to tell. Sue was a spit fire for sure and I just loved that about her. It isn't the same with out her there every morning when I come in or when I leave at night to go home. I am so very thankful that I was blessed to meet her and become friends with her. She will forever be in my heart. May you all find comfort in this time of mourning, and find celebration in the life that she led. God Bless. Angela James.”
