He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Dale and Sadye Dale; and his siblings, Boyce Dale, Bill Dale, Jack Dale and Oletha Graham (Dale).
He is survived by: his wife Velma Louise; his daughters, Teresa Schmidt, Vickie Foulks (Roger), Debbie Dale and Natalie Ussrey (Tony); his grandchildren, Derik Ussrey (Debbie), Angela Kelley (Mark), Christon Cummings (Rafe), April Stanley (Derek), Elizabeth Boulanger (Micah), Jessica Dooley (Clayton), Desiree, McAlpin (Terrick) and Ashlyn Goswick (Wesley); and his brother Gary Dale. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren.
