She was predeceased by: her parents, Gene Hobbs and Dorothy Hobbs (Coffman); her sisters, Janet Chavez and Betty Echols; and her sister-in-law Hazel Gipson.
She is survived by: her husband Melvin Mitchell of Rufe, OK; her daughter Linda Frei (Chris); her grandchildren, Johnny Dayberry, Ashley Allen and Lonny Sanders; and her siblings, Terry Hobbs of Idabel, OK and Goldie Foshee of Idabel, OK. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Miller and Miller Funeral Home - Valliant (201 East Wilson St, Valliant, OK 74764). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
