She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Kellum Mitchell and Altie Ethel Stamps Mitchell; her grandparents, DK and Efa Mitchell, Isaac and Oma Stamps; her husband Bobby George Gipson; her son Robert Eugene Gipson; her sister Mary Ellen Knight; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Gipson, Carolyn McClure, Bud Gipson and Michael Elliott.
She is survived by: her son Paul Gipson of Rufe, OK; her grandchildren, Ashley Gipson and Joshua Gipson; her siblings, Melvin Mitchell (Wanda) and Laverne Elliott; her siblings-in-law, Dixie Tollett Mussett and Mikey McClure; and her niece Sharon Marie Gifford. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Miller and Miller Funeral Home - Valliant (201 East Wilson St, Valliant, OK 74764). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Rufe Baptist Church (1 Main St, Rufe, OK 74755).
