He was predeceased by: his parents, Lena Schlup Hess and Tambi Hess; his brothers, Kenneth (Mildred), Elmer (Juanita), Alford and Charles (Wanda); his nephew Ronny Hess; and his great-nieces, Lena Hendrix and Sonia Hess Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Bobo; his children, Cindy Tahler (Jim), Dallena Thompson (Ron) and Galon Hess; his grandchildren, Bill Tahler (Cassie), Alan Tahler (Lindsay), Anna Tahler Glass (Matthew), Tailor Hess Julian (Dalton) and Hunter Hess; his great grandchildren, Nathan, Graham, Henley, Luke, Lily, Dax, Jamie and Levi; and his brother Jerry (Nelda). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Campground Cemetery.
