She was predeceased by: her parents, William Albert Charlton and Mamie Lue Charlton (Tatom); her husband Bert; her brothers, Elzie and Charlie Charlton; her sons, Dennis Bert McDaniel and Dannie Lee McDaniel; and her grandchildren, Robert "Rocky" Dunithen, Megan Strayhorn and Stacy Strayhorn.
She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Johnson (Brit) of Millerton, OK and Sheila Strayhorn (Pat) of Wright City, OK; and her grandchildren, Natalie Strayhorn, Sherry Norton, Steven Strayhorn, Angelina Dodds, Reneé Bailey, Robbie McDaniel and Kim Oliver. She is also survived by twenty two great grandchildren; sixteen great-great grandchildren.
