He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy Armstrong; and his grandson Erin Armstrong. He is survived by: his wife Beverley Olney of Tyrone, OK; his brothers, JD Armstrong Jr. of Wichita, KS, Doug Armstrong of Wakeeney, KS and Bobby Armstrong of Belaire, KS; his son Jon Armstrong of Hays, KS; his stepchildren, Charlotte Sanders of Liberal, KS and Todd Sanders of Arcadia, OK; his grandsons, Brandon Parker, Jace Armstrong and Dawson Armstrong; and his stepgrandson Brennan Sanders.
