She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Garrett and Ethel Mae Garrett (Rich); her siblings, Willie Francis Garrett, Charles Edward Garrett, Calvin Don Garrett, Gerald Dan Garrett, Jerry Dean and Shirley Mae Hayes; her daughter Wanda Darlene Charlton; and her grandchildren, Diana Marlene Woods and James McBride.
She is survived by: her children, Jamie Elec McBride, Teresa Davis and Nita Torres (Gilberto); and her grandchildren, Dana, Brandy, Jason, Amy, Nathan, Nyelle, Christopher, Lauren, Levi, Brittany, Xander, Ethan, Cristi and Jody. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
