He was predeceased by: his son Mitchell Shouse; his parents, Rass Shouse and Helen Shouse; and his siblings, Laura Fields, Margaret Bancroft, Charles, Dennis, Levi, Bob and Jerry.
He is survived by: his wife Marcene; his daughters, Somer Heslar (Clark) of Muskogee and Tessa Jaco of Mustang; his sisters, Sandra Shouse of Catoosa and Sue Wilson of California; his aunt Wanda Shouse of Kellyville; and his grandchildren, Zayde, Hallee, Emery and Brennan. He is also survived by several cousins who were like siblings, several nieces and nephews.
