She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Sylvester and Jane Elizabeth Roper (Rowland); her husband Charley Guthery; her son Jerry Wayne Guthery; and her siblings, Ralph, Paul, Robert Roper, Nellie Jones and Edna Chism.

She is survived by: her children, Betty McBride of Tuttle, OK, Charles Guthery of Tuttle and Tommy Guthery (Millie) of Sandia, TX; and her sister Anna Bell Johanson of Denver, CO.. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.
