It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Curtis Edward Coffey of Tuttle, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 4, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Arthur Coffey and Lillie May Coffey; and his brother Arthur Carl Coffey (Juanita Coffey). He is survived by : his cousins, Jack and Carolyn; his uncles, Woodrow and Arden; his sister-in-law Beverly Waller; his daughters, Nancy 'Dianne', Janice Carol (Mark Abello) and Dianne Coffey; his grandchildren, Eli, Evie, Desi, Lorelai, Sophie, Tiffany Rivers, J Abello Tharp (Tyler Tharp), Felicia Paslay (Jon Paslay), Riah Abello and Cheyanne Johnson (Wyatt Johnson); his wife Juanita Coffey; his great grandchildren, Eli Rivers, Evie Paslay, Desi Paslay, Lorelai Rivers and Sophie Paslay; his sister Laquita Scroggins (Leymoin Scroggins); and also, Gary Dennington, Earl, Mary and Sherry Kersey. He is also survived by friends, and wonderful neighbors.

He supported their school Shiloh Christian Academy with his donations to the basketball team and honey for their ham sales.

“Curtis will always hold a special place in our hearts! He was like a big brother to Carolyn and me. We and our families spent a great deal of time together. Curtis and Carolyn volunteered to continue the annual family reunion for several years when his Uncles Woodrow and Arden were no longer able. He stayed in close contact with Carolyn and I throughout his life. We talked on the phone as recently as two weeks before his death. We miss him dearly! With Love, Dewayne, Helen, Elaina, Doug”

“Curtis Coffey is probably one of those characters thought to be fictional with his life stories spawning from the likes of Robert Duvall as he portrays himself with principles he surely wouldn't be budged from but also securely kept a open minded. He could tell you stories, and I mean stories that impacted his life and would yours too all inflected with his laugh and silly wit. Curtis was very passionate about his family and in the best ways. Curtis knew how to love and it showed. miss u papa <3”
