He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Coyle and Arzella Kopf Coyle; his former wife Wilma Ann Houska; his son Kevin; and his sister Carol Osborn.

He is survived by: his children, Darren (Teresa) of Liberal, KS and Jerri (John Gilcrease) of Garden City, KS.; his wife Carol Coyle of Kiowa, KS.; his sisters, Dolores Diggs of Cleo Springs, OK, Lovera Howerton of Dripping Springs, TX and Barbara Koch of Enid, OK.; and his grandchildren, Brooke Coyle, Sterling Coyle, Cameron Coyle, Joshua Gilcrease and Kristina Gilcrease.
