He is survived by: his brother Neal Combs of Okemah, Oklahoma.; his children, Susan Plunk (Kelly) of Ridgeway Virginia, Craig Combs (Valerie) of Union City, Oklahoma, Lyle Combs of Augusta, Kansas and Sterling Gehrer of Bentonville, Arkansas.; his grandchildren, Jeremy, Tiffany Plunk, Joshua, Alma Plunk, Jason Plunk, Brett Combs and Cassidy Combs; his great grandchildren, Jayden, Cassandra, Kaitlyn, Ethan, Jordan, Lillie, Harley, Ariel, Lyla and Landon; and his granddaughter Shannan Whetstone.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Independence Cemetery.
