He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Naomi Ruth McGowan (O'Leary); his wife Kathleen Echols; his children, Scotty McGowan of Tallahassee, FL, Donivan McKenzie (Stephanie) of McKinney, TX and Laura Roebuck (Anthony) of Tupelo, OK.; his grandchildren, Kolton Johnston (Rochelle) of Tupelo, OK, Kyndal Johnston, Nathan Park of Tupelo, OK, Delana McKenzie of McKinney, TX and Dexter McKenzie of McKinney, TX; his great grandchild Adaline Johnston of Tupelo, OK; his siblings, Linda Craig (Billy) of San Bernardino, CA and David McCloud (Barbara) of Laramie, WY.; his siblings-in-law, Gary Echols (Brenda) of Purcell, OK., Linda Echols of Byng, OK, Karen Burris of Coalgate, OK and Rebecca Saint (Bill); his parent Naomi Ruth McCloud (O'Leary); his sister Amanda McGowan; his parents-in-law, E. W. Echols and Clara Anderson (C. B.); and his brothers-in-law, Noah Burris and Gerald Echols.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Gospel Lighthouse Church.
