Virginia Walker Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Walker in Tulsa, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 31, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Virginia has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William L. Gifford and Ella Marsh Gifford; and her daughters, Janice and Joyce. She was also cherished by her two daughters, one stepdaughter, one stepson, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Fitzgerald Ivy Chapel (1402 South Boulder Ave W, Tulsa, OK 74119). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Virginia G. Walker Clubhouse (1502 S Boulder Ave, Tulsa, OK 74119).
