Shirley Joy Williams Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 1, 2024, at the age of 89, Shirley Joy Williams (Tulsa, Oklahoma) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bruce Williams; and her siblings, Bill, Allan, Donald, Marvin, Roger Payne, Milly Cart and Kathlyn Franks.
She is survived by: her son Kent Edwin Williams (Joe Cummings); her sister Brenda Payne James; her siblings-in-law, Wanda Payne (Allan) and Richard King (Neva); her friends, Bob and Kathy Harper; and her nieces, Julie Carter and Jeanne Moyer. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Moore's Southlawn Chapel (9350 E 51st St, Tulsa, OK 74145). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the University United Methodist Church (2915 E 5th St, Tulsa, OK 74104).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Tulsa Boys' Home or University United Methodist Church, in honor of Shirley's lifelong commitment to helping others.
