Robert Gene Sokolis Obituary

Robert "Bob" Gene Sokolis, of Owasso, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Thursday, February 7, 2019, at the age of 77, at St. John Medical Center, Tulsa, OK. He was born on February 13, 1941 in Springfield, Illinois to Robert Fortner and Helen 'Hoffman' Sokolis.

Bob was was and electrician for many years, he also worked for and retired from Korbel Winery.

He is survived by his children Ron Johnson and, Debra Potter; grandchildren, Jennifer and Stacey of Oklahoma. He is also survived by his mother Helen Sokolis of California, half-sisters Nancy Schmidt, Margie Sokolis of California, half-brother Tom Sokolis of Florida and step-sisters Aleda Heath and Eva Robinson all of California. He was preceded in death by his biological father Robert Fortner and his adoptive father Emil Sokolis.
