She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginia Lansing Gaylord (Alvord) and Luvern Gaylord; her sister Virginia Somerville; her sister-in-law Edith Gaylord; and her nephews, David Gaylord and David Somerville.
She is survived by: her brother Tom Gaylord; and her nephews, Thomas Sanders, Steven Sanders and Mike Somerville.
A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel (6500 S 129th E Ave, Broken Arrow, OK 74012).
Her contributions to aviation extended to various organizations, including the Tulsa Air and Space Museum board of directors, Spartan College of Aeronautics advisory board, the Ninety-Nines Inc., Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, the National Association of Flight Instructors, and the Society of Aviation Flight Educators.
