It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Alice Towers Heavner (Tulsa, Oklahoma), who passed away on February 22, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Towers and Ruth Towers; her sisters, Margaret Carpenter and Jean Wortley; her husband Louis Heavner, Jr. (Lou); and her great grandchild Emma Finke.
She is survived by: her sister Marilyn Williams; her children, Louis, III (Cindy) of Baton Rouge, Will (Nancy) of St. Louis and Sandy Arnold (Doug) of Edmond; her grandchildren, Sadie Finke, Logan Heavner, Amanda Ketchum, Dylan Arnold, Brittany Meier, Sara Heavner, Rebecca Jarzombek, Tom Heavner, David Heavner, Benjamin Heavner and Lucy Heavner; and her great grandchildren, Nathan, Blair Heavner, Evan Finke, Jeremiah, Collette Jarzombek, Dax Arnold, Malek Aljafal and Jacob Ketchum.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Schaudt's Tulsa Funeral Service Chapel (5757 S Memorial Dr, Tulsa, OK 74145). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (5111 S Memorial Dr, Tulsa, OK 74145). Following the Covid pandemic, she moved to Edmond, OK to be near her daughter, Sandy.
