She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bates and Helen Bates; her husband A. J.; and her son Andrew Floyd. She is survived by: her children, Ellen Floyd, David Floyd, Bill Floyd and Mary Lou Dicks. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, thirty-three great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
