It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leron West of Tulsa, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 17, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis West, Sr. and Maggie West; his siblings, Jimmie Lee, Willis West, Jr., Julia Ann Burton, Bobbie Jean Black and Janet Stewart; and his daughter Dana Liggins.
He is survived by: his sons, LeRon Gregory (Marlene) and Franklin Aundre'West (Connie) of Tampa, FL; his wife Mary West of Tulsa, OK; his sisters, Janice Stewart of Tulsa, OK and Dr. Mildred West Manning; and his children, Julia "Yvonne" Williams of Tulsa, OK, Sherry D. Laskey of Tulsa, OK, Bridget J. Laskey (Franklin) of Tulsa, OK, James C. Laskey (Detra) of Tulsa, OK and Felicia O. Richard (Broderick) of Oklahoma City, OK.. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great, great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors, Inc. (1414 N Norfolk Ave, Tulsa, OK 74106). A wake will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gilcrease Hills Baptist Church (2001 W Newton St, Tulsa, OK 74127). A burial will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Lewisville Cemetery.
