He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mason, and Phyllis Mason, Jr. (Epps) of Des Moines; and his nephew Matthew Mason. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Mason (Peters); his daughters, Jennie Smith (David), Joanna Mason (Tulsa), Jaime Mason (Tulsa) and Jillian Hopkins (Mark); his grandchildren, Justin, Allison, Katelyn, Megan, Jordan, Lauren Smith, Eliana, Makayla and Josephine Hopkins; and his siblings, Carol Watson (Doug), Jim Mason (Linda) and Beth Adams (Nick).
In lieu of flowers, tribute donations can be made in Larry's honor to The Coffee Bunker in Tulsa, Oklahoma to support the work they do to help military veterans.
