It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Eugene Struttmann in Tulsa, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 8, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Kenneth Eugene may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Quentin Struttmann and Anna Struttmann; his wife Joan Belsha; and his daughter Sandy. He is survived by: his sons, Steve (Melissa) of Skiatook, Oklahoma, Tim of Atlanta, Georgia and Brian (Stephanie) of Franklin, Wisconsin. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; five great-grand children.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fitzgerald Southwood Colonial Chapel (3612 E 91st St, Tulsa, OK 74137). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 3850 Lourdes Drive, Decatur, Illinois 62526.

He was an intelligent and faith filled man who imparted these gifts to his children and those who were fortunate enough to know him. May God grant him eternal peace, and I pray that his family will be granted strength and peace to bear his loss and the recent passing of his beloved son, Steven.”

“I had the pleasure of knowing Ken at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, where he usually attended daily Mass. He and other men called themselves "the old geezers". They visited while enjoying coffee after Mass. I asked if he was kin to Sammy Struttmann, who I had as a preschool student in the "FROG" class at St. Mary's. He told me that you were his grandson, go by Sam, and showed me current pictures. Ken gave me a copy of his book and encouraged me to write a book about my life which I did. Sympathy”
