He was predeceased by: his parents, William S. Doerpinghaus and Rose E. Doerpinghaus (Koerdt); and his nephew Phillip J Doerpinghaus, Jr. (PJ). He is survived by: his brother Phillip J Doerpinghaus Sr. (Mary); his niece Sarah Flanagan; his nephew John Doerpinghaus (Megan); his great-nieces, Reagan, Blair Flanagan and Emma Doerpinghaus; and his nephew PJ.
