Joan Blakely Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 29, 2025, at the age of 94, Joan Blakely (Tulsa, Oklahoma), born in Poughkeepsie, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Forrest Blakely; and her husband John Blakely. She is survived by: her siblings-in-law, Thomas Blakely and Janice Blakely; her nephew David Blakely; her daughters-in-law, Lesley McCollough and LuAnn Blakely; and her grandchildren, April Blakely, Jessica Trehy, Kristin Braden, Amy Blakely, Quinn Blakely and Knox Blakely. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Moore's Rosewood Chapel (2570 S Harvard Ave, Tulsa, OK 74114).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations could be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
