He was predeceased by: his daughter Rebecca Hasty; and his parents, Sharba Battles and William Battles. He is survived by: his children, Melissa Rhea and Donald Battles; his grandchildren, Bown Hasty, Beckett Hasty and Brinley Hasty; and his siblings, Chuck Battles and Margie Battles.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Ft. Gibson National Cemetery (1423 Cemetery Rd, Fort Gibson, OK 74434).
