Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint James leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Carroll and Corinne LaFon Carroll (LaFon); his children, Gary Carroll and Connie Winter; his siblings, Donald Carroll and Lila Ruth Doup; and his niece Carroll Ruth Doup.
He is survived by: his wife Madelyn Baker Carroll (Baker) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his children, Roy Carroll of St. Elizabeth, Missouri and Cindy Baucum (Ken) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and his son-in-law Ron Winter of Del City, Oklahoma. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 40 plus great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Oak Hill Cemetery.
