It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria DeLoach Horton of Tulsa, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 17, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gloria DeLoach Horton to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John T. DeLoach and Emma Lou DeLoach (Fortner); her husband Edward T. Horton; her son Rodney E. Horton; and her brothers, James D. DeLoach, Robert E. DeLoach, John T. DeLoach, Jr. and Thomas H. DeLoach.
She is survived by: her sons, John Horton (Elizabeth Lawrence) of Albuquerque, NM and Robert T. Horton (Donna) of Tulsa, OK; her granddaughters, Katherine Michelle Horton, Dixie Ray Horton and Lindsay Horton Sykes; her great grandchildren, Riley Duncan, Ethan Gage Sykes, Bryn and Taryn Agostino; and her sister Mary Katherine Smith of Winnfield, LA.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Luke's Episcopal Church (4818 E 9th St, Tulsa, OK 74112). A reception will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (5111 S Memorial Dr, Tulsa, OK 74145).
The family requests memorial contributions in Gloria's name be made to "Washington National Cathedral" or to your "favorite charity.".
