She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Smith and Rena Smith (Lamb); and her husband Gerald Bishop Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Gerald Bishop Jr. (Tara), Kip Bishop (Terri) and Rhonda Lockhead. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
