She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Howard and Earnestine Howard; her husband Elgene Collins, Sr.; her daughter Kim Collins; her siblings, Edith Mae, Mosetta, Joe, Eugene and Rodney Martin; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Hutton, Herbert Collins, Jr. and Ronald Collins, Sr. (Danny Boy).
She is survived by: her children, Richard Howard, Katina Collins (Joe Johnson), Elgene Collins, Jr. and Odrenall Collins; her stepdaughter Beth Ann Miles; her sisters, Sammie Etta Howard and Lisa Howard; her siblings-in-law, Edna Mae Pannell, Norma Jean Nickerson, Ruby Griffin, Alberta Collins and Michael Collins; and her great grandchild Carla Martin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
