He was predeceased by: his parents, Dick Harms and Florence Harms of Iowa Falls, Iowa.; and his siblings, Diane, Richard, David and Kevin Harms.

He is survived by: his son Craig Harms; and his siblings, Doris Lind, Keith Harms, Kent Harms and Robert Harms. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
