She was predeceased by: her parents, C. Robert Belt and Mary Jean Belt (Combs); and her brother Timothy Belt (Dennis). She is survived by: her close friends, Joni Mitchell, Elton John, Rod Stewart, Bob Dylan and Joan Baez; her friends, Margie Bess, Sue, Priss, Gail, Ann M, Anne J and Charlotte; her former husband Robert J. Murphy; her grandchild Will; her children, Sean Murphy (Jocelyn) of Denver, CO., Megan Schwab (Jeffrey) of Robbinsville, NJ. and T. Matthew Murphy (Kimberly) of Tulsa, OK.; her grandchildren, Frances Murphy, Henry Murphy, William Schwab, Jake Schwab and Claire Murphy; her brother Michael Belt (Barbara); and her siblings-in-law, Dennis Binette, Ron Murphy (Jon Kay) and Connee Shufelt (David). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and their children.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Paul's Episcopal Church (613 S Elm St, Coffeyville, KS 67337).
Memorials may be made in her name to The Coffeyville Public Library.
