He was predeceased by: his daughter Stella Teegarden; his mother Vicki Teegarden; and his grandparents, Elizabeth, E. Jay Teegarden, Shirley and Wayne Hines.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sunny and Sophia Teegarden; his wife Kresta Teegarden; his father David Teegarden Sr.; his siblings, Jesse, Matthew Teegarden and Amelia Teegarden; and his nephew Jackson Teegarden.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Fitzgerald Ivy Chapel (1402 South Boulder Ave W, Tulsa, OK 74119).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Red Dirt Relief Fund, which supports musicians in times of need and reflects David's lifelong passion for music and his community.
